• Other candidates
• Online jobsites
• The public domain
• Social Media such as LinkedIn
• At interview
• Conversations on the telephone or video conferencing
• Notes following a previous conversation or meeting
• Our website and websites we choose to advertise through

 

Where you are a candidate and your personal data has come from a third party such as an online job board, it is our policy to advise you of the source upon our first communication with you.

 

Storage and Retention
Candidate information is stored on a secure encryption and password protected database that is used solely in order to allow us to consider you for current or future employment opportunities. We may contact you periodically to discuss opportunities with you, at which point you may be requested or indeed choose to provide up-to-date details relating to your CV.

 

As a number of candidates are happy to remain with their current employer for a number of years whilst waiting for a more desirable or challenging opportunity to present itself, and in order to allow us to perform the commercial activity of a proactive recruitment agency, we may retain your details for a similar period without contacting you.

 

You are within your rights to contact us to request your details be removed from such database at any given time, in which case this will be actioned within 21 days upon receiving your request in writing. Similarly, in the course of our dealings with a client, we may collect relevant contact information such as your full name, job role, contact telephone number, email and business address as well as your statements and opinions about candidates/references etc. Likewise, storage of information is securely encryption and password protected and you can instruct us to remove your details at any given time.

 

Processing and Usage
Information on candidates and clients will be used purely for the purpose of introducing the two parties together, based on a live vacancy or potential opportunity that could be mutually beneficial.

 

Third Parties
No third party other than the intended recipient (client or candidate) will be given your details by us.
