Are you able to lead a Print Finishing department, have exposure to both Digital and Litho finishing processes? If so, this could be just the position you've been looking for.

This demanding position will see the successful candidate contribute to the smooth running of the wider production department with the specific task of managing the team, budgets and commercial targets within an extremely busy Finishing department.

Responsibilities:

• Recruiting and managing staff within the Finishing department including all aspects of time & attendance and discipline
• Have full working knowledge and understanding of the various finishing processes, the equipment within the department and the equipment’s capability
• Being able to operate a range of folding, guillotine, stitching, perfect binding, lamination and one-piece mailing equipment and understanding their capabilities/limitations
• Ensuring that correct procedures are followed for ISO quality checking and appropriate paperwork is completed
• Helping ensure department SLA’s are met
• Performing daily machine safety checks – raising and logging all engineer calls
• Complete time sheets and quality control documentation as required by the senior management team
• Understand and adhere to the company policies and procedures with particular emphasis on Health & Safety
• Willing and able to work overtime at relatively short notice and to cover holidays and sickness when required
